Vintage, 1970s, genuine Malachite Box with lid and Art Deco style handle. This small but very heavy box measures 3 1/4" (8.2cm) wide by 2 1/2" (6.2cm) deep and 1 1/2 (3.7cm) high and weighs over 13 oz (390g). Beautifully hand crafted to highlight the intricacies of the swirled patterns of color typical of the mineral. Inset corners on inside of lid to keep a centered fit.
