Vintage French Art Deco Dinner & Dessert Knives, Horn Handles, Thiers Apollonox

  

Dinner and Dessert / Cheese Knives. His stylish set of 24 French knives from the 1930's is composed of 12 dinner knives and 12 dessert / cheese knives. The stainless steel blades are stamped. Factories were located in Thiers, in the Auvergne region of France, capital of the the French cutlery industry for centuries.

The headquarters of the company were in Paris. The color of the natural horn handles varies slightly from piece to piece and, along with the elegant.

Silver collars, lends this ensemble all the elegance expected from the famous tradition of French cutlery. The knives are offered in their original brown imitation snakeskin cases and they are in very good condition with the exception of signs of normal use. The cases show slight signs of wear.
