Rare COLLINGWOOD England Hand Painted Art Deco FLOWER HANDLE Cup & Saucer

  
Wonderful vintage bone china teacup and saucer set made by Collingwood China, England. Features the rare and highly collectible full flower handle. Typical Art Deco style with hand painted bold flowers, green leaves; note that the pattern repeats on the inner top edge near the cup rim.

Handpainted trim is dramatic black. Likely dates from the 1930s.

Scallop edged cup and squared saucer. Mint condition with no chips, cracks, stains, other damage or restoration on either cup or saucer - they both pass the bone china "ping" test; the only miniscule flaws are a couple of underglaze darkened kiln bits which I only mention for complete accuracy as they do not detract from the overall beauty of the set.

Cup measures 2 7/8" tall and 4" wide including handle; saucer is 5 1/2 wide. Marked as shown in photo in dark green with cup also having pattern number 6026 hand painted in dark red. Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash.
