Rare Antique Daum Art Deco Double Handled Etched Vase by Pierre D'Avesn

  
This is a c1930 Daum. Art Deco Glass Vase by Artist Pierre D'Avesn with Scalloped Glass Handles and an etched body. The Vase is in Very Good Condition with no cracks or chips. The Vase is 6 7/8" tall, by 8 1/2" wide at handles, by 5 1/4.

The Vase is nice and heavy weighing 4 LBS 6 OZ. Pierre D'avesn (1901 - 1990) worked for Lalique for about 10 years. Where he designed vases'Serpent' and'Tourbillons', some of Laliques most collectable lines. In 1924 he opened his own shop and signed his art with P D'Avesn.

In 1930 Pierre went to work for Daum Freres where he worked until 1936. Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge. Some wear is to be expected, unless described as flawless or mint. I cannot know everything about every item I offer, I do inspect each item and list all known flaws or damage.
