It is in excellent used condition. About R & & Augousti. Based in Paris, Ria & Yiorui Augousti design a stunning collection of high-end decorative furniture and home accessories. Originally inspired by the richness and textures of the Art Deco period, their style has been described as "Neo Art Deco".

They use a luxurious and unconventional natural materials to create the modern vintage style that has become their signature. Their creations are carried at their flagship store in Paris and in select boutiques. Their pieces were previously carried at elegant department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Barney's New York, but have not been available there for quite a few years.

This piece has been stored in a closed cabinet and remains in superb condition (the appearance of any scratches on the bronze are due to the magnification of the photos and there are not any cracks in the penshell handle). The actual piece shows beautifully without signs of wear. This piece was handcrafted, likely by artisans in the Phillipines, as are most R & R Augousti pieces.
