McCormick and Ray Brose to mention a few. She won a myriad of awards exhibiting throughout her life in Northern Nevada.
She was remembered as one of the hardest working members of the NAA. McFadden also notes she was a 1961 Latimer Art Club member. The glazing is exquisite on this handled vase with crackle main glaze and super Art Deco slip trail lines of decoration. This decorated vase is signed with early RR initials cipher of the artist, which did change over time. There are glaze blips and even an area of the slip that migrated over the surface, which is completely glazed over---there is crazing throughout the glaze, which you can feel in some places. Minor contacts are noted over the surfaces with minimal loss or wear. There is a trace of minerals within the neck.
I do not detect any other condition notes. This condition of the vase is best described as a vase with normal use and wear. THIS is a MUSEUM QUALITY vase---it is simply stunning. This decorated plate measures 9.25 inches tall by 4.75 inches wide.
