You will love this great piece. You will need a hole 19/64 diameter for the knob rod to fit thru.

You project thickness needs to be 5/8" thick if it the usual 3/4" thick you will need to drill a countersunk hole to accommodate the washer & nut since the total length of the shaft on the knob is 3/4 long.
