Art Deco Sheffield Copper Claret Jug Bottle Decanter Spelter handle 12½ 1930s

  

Art Deco wine Claret with handle, water bottle, decanter covered in copper 1930's. Beautiful rich patina and great character. Stamped on the bottom'Sheffield Plate.

The copper is made around a Brownish glass bottle. Copper cap with built in cork. It measures: 12 ¼" tall x 5 ¾" across including handle x 4 across the base weighs 2 ½ LBS. The copper decanter has 2 openings on each side, perhaps it had a stand.

I cannot find anything similar to this copper bottle. PURPOSE: Barware wine claret with handle. STYLE: Art Deco Empire, French provincial, Georgian, Victorian. Vintage 1930's copper wine claret style stamped.

Excellent vintage condition- no chips, cracks, dents or rust. Great patina developed only through time. Please zoom and view all pictures as they are part of the description.
