Antique Bohemian Czech Deco Kralik Glue Chip Art Glass Vase with Applied Handles

  

This Czech Deco Kralik art glass vase is cased glass with a unique process to how it was made. The interior has layers of coloured glass powder (enamel) or glass chips between a thick casing layer. Rumor has it, the glass was treated and entirely covered with a (glue-like) substance when the glass reached a cool tempature.

The surface layer was later chipped off with a wooden tool. Collector's call this decor, Glue Chip. He rim is 3-7/8 diameter. The flat base is 2-7/8 diameter. Handle to handle is 5-3/4 across.
