Antique Art Deco Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Floral & Gold Panels Handled Vase

  
Long ovoid body is nicely decorated with five hand painted flower panels over a light green background alternating with five luscious gold floral panels. Each panel is separated by gilt borders.

Rich gold gilding also applied along the rim, the handles and the extended base. Stands on three shallow feet.

Marked on the bottom "HAND PAINTED NIPPON" with an "M" in a wreath for Morimura Brothers. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon (Japan) between 1911 and 1921. Measures approximately 11 3/4 inches tall x 5 3/4 inches wide. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some wear to the gilding, please refer to photos.
