1930s Art Deco'Flapjack Production' Vanity Nécéssaire / Purse / Minaudière

  
Presenting a Fabulous, Rare and Never Used. Vintage Brass Minaudière with Goldtone Mesh Handle. Similar items are also called Vanity Nécéssaire or Purse. Item was produced in either Austria or Germany in 1930s but without the exact year I can't be sure.

The exterior top and bottom have been decorated with very detailed drawings of underwater scenes with large variety of fauna and flora like koi and golden fish swimming between seaweeds and variety of sea shells on the bottom. The Interior lids over the rouge and powder have details from the same exterior underwater scenes artwork. I have seen similar artwork on a smaller. PRODUCTION Minaudière to be described as " goldtone chinoiserie design " but I don't have an art degree so use that additional description with "grain of salt". Classic 1930s Art Deco Minaudière interior has space and compartments for all your needs.

In the original felt bag and never used! Nice beveled mirror set into the lid. Place for a few cigarettes (short, non-filter type). Small Portmone (for few folded up bills or coins). Place for rouge (" Für Ihr Rouge ").
